Help! What if I don't know how to pose!?
No worries! I constantly work with clients who are uncomfortable in front of the camera. I will send you helpful resources to look over before the shoot, as well as direct you into the most comfortable and natural positions for your shoot.
What should I wear?
If you do not know what to wear, PLEASE let me know so I can send you a guide to create the BEST outcome for your portraits!
Why do you collect a non-refundable retainer?
The retainer is what many professional photographers use to know when someone is seriously interested in a shoot, because if a client cancels a shoot last minute, I may have turned down a different client for a spot I reserved for you that day. It is immensely important for both parties!
can I bring my dog to my shoot?
ABSOLUTELY! As long as your pup is on a leash, isn't aggressive towards people and other dogs, and it is important to consider any illness they may have that may be dangerous in hot weather (obesity, congestive heart failure, etc.). Also, outdoor shoots and in-home shoots only!
Do I have to order prints through you?
I like to leave my clients as much freedom as possible. I am currently offering printing privileges with every package booked with me. This means you may buy prints through me on the website gallery, or your favorite print shop! (since you're doing this at your own risk, make sure they're reliable!)
Will there be a second shooter?
I prefer to leave the option of second shooters up to you since they are an additional charge; this gives you freedom in your booking on what you want to spend your money on.
What kind of gear do you use?
I mainly shoot with a full-frame Canon body with dual card slots (super important!!) and I will occasionally bring external flashes. I will always bring backups of everything for weddings, from a backup SD card to a backup camera.
